Charles Hunt, an assistant professor of political science in the School of Public Service, recently worked with KTVB News Group to discuss and demonstrate ranked-choice voting, an element of Idaho Proposition 1 that will be on the state’s ballot in November 2024. In the segment from KTVB’s “The 208,” participants try out ranked-choice voting for a mock election. Hunt and KTVB staff then explained the process for counting these votes.
