Fry moderates housing discussion at Downtown Boise Association event

Idaho Policy Institute Director Vanessa Fry recently moderated a conversation on the topic of housing at the Downtown Boise Association’s State of Downtown address. The annual State of Downtown brings together local leaders in business and government to provide insight on how the Boise metro area has changed over the past year. This year’s focus was on Boise’s reputation of offering a safe and cleanly downtown areas.

Much of the conversation’s focus centered around addressing the needs of the local unhoused population. The panel featured local organizations that strive to provide resources to those members of the Boise community facing unstable housing situations.
