Lincoln Ave., at the intersection of Belmont St., will be closed until Friday, Sept. 27 for underground infrastructure work. The work was originally scheduled to be completed Sept. 18, but the project’s complex nature has prompted an extension. The contractor is working diligently to keep the university’s students, staff and faculty, as well as their own crew safe while continuing to make progress.
Two lanes of egress in and out of the Lincoln Parking Garage will be maintained throughout the closure. Use extra caution and patience while detouring around the site whether on foot or in a vehicle. The site will be fenced off appropriately but are urged to ensure they have sure footing and ample clearance when navigating the area.
