Baiza wins literary competition

The Inlandia Institute recently awarded Advising and Academic Support Center Director Tomás Baiza the 2023-24 Eliud Martínez Prize in literature. Baiza’s manuscript, “Mexican Teeth: Stories and Assorted Artifacts of an Errant Chicanidad,” was selected for its “singular voice and perspective,” Juanita E. Mantz, the competition judge said.

“Mexican Teeth” will appear on Inlandia Books in 2025.
