The Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship has announced the recipients of their Fall 2024 Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Scholarships. Ten students will receive a $3,000 stipend to conduct research or pursue a creative project over 12-weeks under the supervision of a faculty mentor. For faculty, it is an opportunity to work closely with and mentor an undergraduate student.
Funding for the scholarships is provided by the Higher Education Research Council of the Idaho State Board of Education and Boise State’s Division of Research and Economic Development.
The awardees for Fall 2024 scholarships are:

- Erykah Foss, Chemistry. Faculty research mentor: Jenée Cryan
- Amelia Hill, Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication. Faculty research mentor: Jenn Mallette
- Mackenzie Hutchinson, Biology. Faculty research mentor: Julie Heath
- Alicia Johnson, Health Studies. Faculty research mentor: Mariane Bacelar
- Jack Knutson, Biology. Faculty research mentor: Stephanie Galla
- Karlee Macaw, Mechanical Engineering. Faculty research mentor: Trevor Lujan
- Hassan Mohammed, Chemistry. Faculty research mentor: Ken Cornell
- Joseph Nigro, History. Faculty research mentor: Kendall House
- Jules Vetter, Communication. Faculty research mentor: Cody Coker
