Spurlock publishes on exaggeration in political advertisements

Jefferson Spurlock, associate chair of integrated media in the Department of Media, was recently published in “ETC (et cetera): A Review of General Semantics.”

His article, “Green light: The fact that political candidates may stretch the truth in broadcast television advertisements,” looks at how the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution paves the way for public office hopefuls to lie in television ads.
