During the 2024 Beta Alpha Psi Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla., Boise State’s Beta Alpha Psi chapter received the prestigious Platinum Challenge Award for the second year in a row. Beta Alpha Psi is an international honor society for accounting, finance and information students attending AACSB-accredited schools of business.
Only 10 Beta Alpha Psi chapters out of over 350 worldwide receive the Platinum Challenge Award each year. The award is Beta Alpha Psi’s most prestigious recognition, which spotlights chapters that go above and beyond specific chapter requirements to improve their chapter and serve their communities. Winning chapters also receive a $3,000 prize. Chapters are required to submit a video highlighting why their chapter deserves the award. See Boise State’s and other competitor’s videos on the annual meeting recap webpage.
“We are incredibly honored to be awarded the Platinum Chapter Award,” said Nick Lloyd, Boise State Beta Alpha Psi president. “The award is a testament to the hard work of our incredible officer team consisting of Samina Oumar, Lily Larson, Joseph Amorebieta, Sage Santangelo, Rylle Bray, Davan Gilmore and our faculty advisor, Kathy Hurley. We are proud to continue to represent Boise State excellence at the national level and are ecstatic to continue developing our chapter.”
