Celebrate undergraduate research in Idaho at annual conference July 17-18

The Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship invites Boise State faculty, staff, students, friends and family, and the community to join the two day celebration of undergraduate research at the 2024 Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research July 17-18, 2024.

Conference is free and open to the public. This year, the conference will be held in-person with several exciting sessions that showcase the breadth and depth of undergraduate research across Idaho colleges and universities, including opportunities for faculty and student networking.

The conference kicks off with an opening plenary session by Erin Searcy, the acting deputy laboratory director for science and technology and chief research officer at Idaho National Laboratory. Day two will see 10 students take the stage to present lightning talks, a three-minute, one-slide presentation of their research or creative activity. Poster sessions on both days offer an opportunity for students to talk about their scholarship and interact with a broad audience. This year, students are set to present 181 posters, representing diverse disciplines and backgrounds.

Check out the complete schedule and more information on the 2024 ICUR Linktree. Attendee registration is open. Attendees may also register at the conference venue at any time during the conference.
