Faculty can learn how to implement service-learning into their courses in the new online, asynchronous Experiential Learning with Community Impact faculty learning community. Participants will review service-learning models, try service-learning essential practices, develop a service-learning experience with a community partner and take steps to successfully integrate service-learning into their courses.
The approximate time commitment is 12 hours. Educators who complete all modules and submit a service-learning plan will receive a $300 grant for professional expenses.
Choose one of two formats:
- Summer “fast track” (two-week program): June 3-17
- Fall (six modules over 12 weeks): Sept. 2-Nov. 24
