Applications for the fall 2024 Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Scholarships by the Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship are now open. Previously offered as the HERC (Higher Education Research Council) Fellowship and the URCA (Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities) Grant, both are now being merged under a single scholarship.
The scholarships are paid, 12-week research experiences that provide students the opportunity to conduct research or pursue a creative project under the supervision of a faculty mentor. For faculty, it is an opportunity to work closely with and mentor an undergraduate student. Boise State undergraduate students that plan to pursue research or a creative project during fall 2024 are eligible to apply.
Faculty are encouraged to share these opportunities with undergraduate students (supervising faculty must fill out a form along with the student form).
Applications close April 1, 2024. Learn more and apply for IFITS Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Scholarships.
