Applications are now open for the Open Education Development Series, a cohort-based learning experience offered through the eCampus Center in the Division of Extended Studies.
Apply to the Open Education Development Series
The five-part series provides training, funding and support for online faculty to grow in their understanding, use and creation of open educational resources (OERs). Sessions include a range of opportunities to explore and interact with existing OERs as well as provide scaffolded support in the creation of OERs.
Several programs are available to faculty who are teaching online courses and programs. For more information, including stipend and application requirements, visit the eCampus Open Education Development Series web page.
Interested faculty can attend a virtual information session. Information sessions will be held on the following days:
- 3 p.m. MT on Jan. 24, 2024. Register for the Jan. 24 session.
- 11 a.m. MT on Jan. 26, 2024. Register for the Jan. 26 session.
The five parts of the Open Education Development Series take place in cohorts. The dates for each cohort are as follows:
- Parts I and II: Feb. 12, 2024 to Feb. 23, 2024
- Part III: March 4, 2024 to March 15, 2024
- Part IV: March 25, 2024 to April 19, 2024
- Part V: May 6, 2024 to June 28, 2024
