Join the Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship’s VIP Program and the Service-Learning program on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023 to learn how experiential learning opportunities are helping Boise State students gain authentic experience tackling a diverse range of challenges.
The Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) Showcase celebrates the work of over 40 VIP teams on interdisciplinary projects addressing complex challenges. Attendees can visit team booths to learn about the work they do, and students can explore projects to join in Spring 2024 (and beyond).
The Service-Learning Exhibition (SLx) is a unique opportunity for students to feature their experience for a diverse audience. The application of student course work to community issues is displayed through a research or reflective poster, video or art.
Faculty are encouraged to use this opportunity to explore these projects, think about how they might integrate experiential learning into their teaching, and pass on opportunities to students who might be interested in experiential learning options at Boise State.
The VIP Showcase and the SLx will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023 in the Simplot Ballroom, Student Union Building.
