All members of the campus community are invited to be a part of Boise State University’s Suicide Prevention Week Sept. 11-16. Organized in collaboration with The Dean of Students, The Office of BroncoFit and Athletics, this week-long event aims to collectively reduce the risk of suicide within our community while spreading the university’s “Here for You” message.
Throughout the week, faculty, students and staff are encouraged to engage in activities across campus designed to raise awareness about mental health resources and promote help-seeking behavior. Members of the campus community can wear “Here For You” buttons throughout the week as a visible sign of support. To secure “Here For You” buttons for a department, fill out the request form by Sept. 6.
Those interested in offering extra credit to students who participate in the Here for You Fest can fill out the extra credit form by Sept. 6. The Here For You Fest is an impactful event that connects students with a range of campus and community resources to support their mental well-being. This event will take place on Sept. 12 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and students can stop by at any time.
