Advising and Academic Support Director Tomás Baiza has released a new literary collection, “A Purpose To Our Savagery.” He wrote a majority of the stories, poems, and essays featured while enrolled in creative writing courses at Boise State, Baiza said.
An official book launch took place at the Meridian Night Market on Aug. 1 in collaboration with the Boise-area arts collective The Backyard Artists. The event included performances from recent Boise State graduates Hannah Cook (BFA, interdisciplinary studies) and London Sage Talbot (BFA, narrative arts).
