Idaho Policy Institute’s Gabe Osterhout, Matthew May and Lantz McGinnis-Brown received third place in the Best of 2022 Opinion – Daily Print awards from the Idaho Press Club. Their article, “Some Idahoans can now vote in Spanish, Native languages: Who’s covered and what it means,”was published in the Idaho Capital Sun and outlines the impact of language coverage under the Voting Rights Act for eligible counties in Idaho.
