The Center for Teaching and Learning is actively recruiting faculty mentors for their Interdisciplinary Mentoring Program. They are seeking a broad range of faculty from all career tracks to support new faculty in their first or second year at Boise State.
Mentors need not be senior or late-career faculty, and they do not need to be experts in all aspects of faculty life to join the pool of prospective mentors. The Center for Teaching and Learning matches mentors and mentees based on a range of interests and experiences. New faculty request mentors who can offer advice, or introduce them to colleagues who can provide guidance on topics as diverse as grant-writing, parenting, work-life balance, recreation, teaching, service, and integrating into various affinity groups at Boise State and in the Treasure Valley.
