Megan Frary has joined the Center for Teaching and Learning staff as a Senior Educational Development Consultant. Frary has worked for Boise State since 2005 and spent 18 years as a faculty member in Materials Science and Engineering. She has worked as a Faculty Associate in the Center for Teaching and Learning since 2013, supporting graduate student instructors, facilitating workshops and contributing to the Course Design Institute. In her new full time role in the center she will continue to teach courses for graduate students interested in teaching at the college level, as well as lead current and developing Center for Teaching and Learning programs.
Frary’s recent scholarly work, supported by the NSF, has been focused on assessing teaching effectiveness and helping graduate students develop stronger professional identities.
