From May 22-26, 2023, the Center for Teaching and Learning will again offer their annual Course Design Institute. Participants will write learning outcomes, develop assessments that are transparent and provide students with multiple means of expression, and plan activities that will support all students in their learning. By the end of the session, participants will have substantial work completed towards a new or revised course design.
Faculty of all ranks are eligible to apply, whether they are new to course design or have participated in previous Course Design Institutes. Graduate students with substantial course responsibilities are also welcome to apply, though faculty will be given priority in application selection. Program colleagues are welcome to participate together, however, each person must submit a separate application.
Those interested in participating should fill out the application form by 9 a.m. on April 14. Late applications will be considered if space is available.
More information about the benefits and expectations of the program can be found on the Center for Teaching and Learning website.
The Center for Teaching and Learning also plans to hold an online version of the Course Design Institute later in the summer of 2023.
