What is mail art? An art form whose only requirement is that the art piece is sent through the mail.
Boise State will host ‘Paper + Post,’ a mail art exhibition in the Student Union Fine Arts Gallery from May 10-23. The deadline to submit a piece is Friday, April 28.
Organizers welcome artists to ponder the question, “How has living with the pandemic for the past three years changed your life?”
Find submission details on the homepage of Kolaj magazine.
Boise artists Debra Mulnick and Lorelle Rau are co-curating the exhibition in conjunction with World Collage Day, an annual, international celebration of collage. A collage meet up where people will be able to experiment with this accessible medium will take place on May 13 in the Student Union Building. Details to come.
Note: At the end of the exhibition, all works submitted will become a permanent part of the university’s Special Collections and Archives at Albertsons Library.
