The campus community is encouraged to monitor the progress of and participate in the searches for the following executive leadership positions.
Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
The next candidate will present at 9 a.m. on Dec. 1, in the Bishop Barnwell Room of the Student Union Building.
The final candidate will be on campus Dec. 5. Candidate materials will be available on the search website two days prior to each candidate visit.
Chief Human Resources Officer
The current search has been failed after a candidate withdrew. A new search will begin in January 2023.
Vice Provost for Inclusion and Belonging
Boise State is launching the search for a Vice Provost for Inclusion and Belonging. The newly created position will serve as a senior official charged with leading and coordinating the efforts in Academic Affairs to support a richly diverse, inclusive and welcoming environment for all students, staff and faculty. The university has partnered with Academic Career & Executive Search Services to conduct the search process and aid the search committee in developing a diverse and qualified candidate pool. As part of this process, the campus community is invited to attend and participate in scheduled listening sessions.
During these facilitated discussions, stakeholders and constituents are welcome to express their opinions and thoughts for this position as the search firm actively works to recruit the best candidates.
Two in-person options for attendance are:
- Listening Session #1: 3-4 p.m., Dec. 6, Berquist Lounge, Student Union Building
- Listening Session #2: 10-11 a.m., Dec. 9, Bishop Barnwell Room, Student Union Building
College and division stakeholders will receive periodic progress updates from the chair of the search committee and will be invited to provide feedback during the search and interview process.
