Patrick Lowenthal, professor in educational technology, recently received three awards from the Association for Educational Communications and Technology in the Distance Education Journal Article category. Lowenthal received first place awards for “Accessible Online Learning: An Analysis of Online Quality Assurance Frameworks” and “Video use in online and blended courses: a qualitative synthesis“. Lowenthal received a second place award for “ Investigating students’ perceptions of screencasting style of video feedback in online courses“. The published articles featured research conducted with current students and alumni from the Educational Technology program at Boise State.
