Krista Paulsen, program lead and associate professor of urban studies in the School of Public Service, recently published multiple articles on social class and place. Co-authored with Jenny Stuber of the University of North Florida, articles include “Understanding social class in place: Responding to supergentrification in Aspen, Colorado,” published in Environment and Planning A: Economy and Space, and “On place and privilege: Varieties of affluence in cities and neighborhoods,” which was published in Sociology Compass.
In addition, Paulsen and Stuber’s brief piece “Undoing Residential Segregation: Is Housing Access Enough?” appeared in Sociology Lens.
