Alicia Dillon, controller and director of procurement and vendor services, is leaving Boise State as of May 20 after having served the university since 2006. Dillon has taken a new role as the Associate Vice President of Finance at the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
“Alicia is such a bright and giving leader. She has been a pleasure to work with all these years,” said Associate Vice President of Finance and Administration Jo Ellen DiNucci. “I will miss her problem solving ability, campus perspective and strategic focus. She will do great things in her new role and I know everyone joins me in wishing her the best.”
During her time at Boise State, Dillon contributed to and led many large university initiatives. She has extensive experience that ranges from legislative audits to being the business manager of the School of Public Service, where she successfully centralized the staff, activities and the transition to becoming a stand-alone school. She also oversaw the combination of the purchasing and accounts payables departments into the procurement and vendor services team.
Over the past year, Dillon has played a key part in advocating for and developing Boise State’s new shared services department which is a team of financial transaction subject matter experts to support campus.
