Human Resource Services has added career ladders to their website as a way for employees to chart career progress and opportunities. Each position is listed under a job family and specific career ladders allow staff to review possible next steps in their careers. Job standards are published for each position so users can see what additional training or skills are needed for advancement.
“This is not only a great guide for employees, it’s an excellent tool for managers and supervisors who want to guide and motivate valued direct reports to advance in their careers”, said Kristal Cilley, workforce planning and compensation manager. “It can also be used to attract high quality candidates to view the many next-level opportunities at Boise State.”
