The Boise State Pathways Project team recently presented their work in creating free open educational resources and professional development for K-16 language instructors at the the second annual Foreign Language Open Educational Resources Conference hosted by the Open Language Resource Center and the Center for Open Educational Resources and Language Learning.
Pathways Project co-directors, Kelly Arispe and Amber Hoye from the Department of World Languages, presented a session titled “The Pathways Project: A Collection of Interpersonal Activities for French, German, Spanish (With More Languages to Come!).” The presentation explored an upcoming collection of interpersonal activities available via Pressbooks this spring. Each language title will contain over 60 interpersonal speaking activities across novice and intermediate proficiency levels for both face-to-face and online instruction. Arispe and Hoye showcased sample activities and provided participants with the information needed to get started using the free publications.
