The 18th annual Undergraduate Research Showcase will take place virtually from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 22. The Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship (IFITS) hope that you are able to join and support our students that day.
IFITS would also like to ask that faculty encourage undergraduate students at all levels to present posters at the showcase. Students will need faculty sponsor approval prior to submitting their abstracts and posters at the Undergraduate Research Showcase Google Site. Guidelines for submission can also be found on this page. Note that this year the abstracts and posters will be submitted together, and the deadline for submission is 11:59 p.m. on April 1.
As in previous years, faculty will have the opportunity to offer extra credit for students attending the undergraduate research showcase. On the day of the event, the institute will be posting a link to a google form that students can complete where they will indicate which class they are attending for extra credit. The students will be asked to fill in information about presentations/posters that they visit to show that they really did attend the showcase. Before the end of the semester, IFITS will let participating faculty know which of their students completed the google form.
Thank you for your continued support of Boise State’s undergraduate students. More information about the Undergraduate Research Showcase is available Undergraduate Research Showcase Schedule and will be updated regularly. If you have any questions, please contact studentresearch@boisestate.edu.
