Raissa Miller, associate professor of counselor education, received the Significant Adlerian Contributor Award on March 5 from the Idaho Society of Individual Psychology.
The award recognizes an individual who has shown commitment to the principles of Adlerian psychology.
Adlerian psychology focuses on each individual’s need for connection and belonging in order to promote growth, overcome feelings of inferiority and achieve happiness. Miller brought Adlerian training and coursework to counselor education at Boise State.
