Boise State has a new dining services contract with Chartwells Higher Ed that will take effect July 1, 2022. Chartwells, named by Forbes magazine as one of the world’s most admired companies for the second year in a row, has begun conversations with current Aramark staff to transition their employment to Chartwells.
The process for selecting a new vendor included a national request for proposals. Aramark, Boise State’s current food partner, Sodexo, and Chartwells presented their proposals earlier this year. The evaluation committee selected Chartwells for the five-year contract.
Nicole Nimmons, associate vice president of campus services who oversees the administration of the dining contract, said, “we are excited to embark on a partnership with Chartwells, to meet the innovation and service needs that reflect our vision for food services.”
