The Office of Information Technology and Procurement and Vendor Services strongly advises those who need to order monitors, printers, and other peripherals intended for purchase in the 2021-22 fiscal year to do so by Jan. 31.
Supply chain disruptions are significantly impacting computer hardware manufacturer inventories. The university has seen shipping delays of up to five months for some computers and peripherals. Ordering early helps to ensure billing to department accounts by June 2022.
Please note that requests for standard desktop and laptop computer configurations generally ship sooner than custom requests. Customized orders are often taking the longest time to arrive.
