Maccarillo retires after nearly 25 years of service

Nick Maccarillo, a management assistant for University Advancement will retire on Jan. 18 after serving the university since 1997.

Maccarillo began with the university in the Civil Engineering Department, where he worked for nine years before moving to University Advancement. In this time with the department, he has assisted every department within University Advancement and worn “every hat in the box,” colleagues said. He has worked on the data team, managed the gift agreement process, worked directly with donors and helped put on thirteen scholarship dinners. Coworkers also remember Maccarillo for “keeping us laughing with his dry sense of humor.”

University Advancement has created a digital card for Maccarillo and all are welcome to join in congratulating him on his retirement.
