Jennifer Weaver, associate professor of psychological science, and Elizabeth Barnes, faculty associate for the Center for Teaching and Learning and lecturer in English will host a monthly book circle for “Academic Mamas” struggling to find balance and joy as they juggle their varied roles. The goal of the book circle is to form a community of mothers to support one another in the complicated process of being a professional and a parent, the organizers said. The group will meet at noon on the last Tuesday of each month (via Zoom) to read and discuss To Have And To Hold: Motherhood, Marriage, and the Modern Dilemma By Molly Millwood.
