Hadley receives Idaho Humanities Council Research Fellowship grant

The Idaho Humanities Council, the state of Idaho partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities, recently awarded Erik Hadley, lecturer of history and University Foundations, a Research Fellowship grant.

Hadley’s project is based on archival research completed in Belgium while on a Fulbright US Scholar Grant in 2020. The council’s research fellowship grant funds a course buy-out in spring semester (2022) for research and writing time on a book chapter on the topic of the suppression of Belgian folkloric festivals during the French Revolutionary era, to be published in the forthcoming edited volume European Festival Studies, 1450-1800 (2023).
