Brian Bolt, assistant vice president and deputy chief information officer in the Office of Information Technology, recently shared the origins of Boise State’s Salesforce Constituent Relationship Management initiative and explained how the plan has evolved and adapted to the university’s project landscape at a national conference for higher education technology executives in San Antonio, Texas.
The presentation, “Automating Communications through Cloud-Based Marketing,” examined the internal capabilities of teams and stakeholders, the vision of university leadership, and statewide initiatives for system consolidation. Bolt mentioned that communication is a core CRM capability, and the starting point for Boise State’s initiative requires a strategic, comprehensive campus communications plan.
Bolt delivered the presentation at the annual 2021 Higher Education CIO Congress.
