Lisa M. Brady, professor and chair of the history department, presented a paper, “Riding the Wave to Victory: U.N. Naval Operations in the Korean War and the Environmental Implications,” at the East Asian Environmental History conference in September.
The meeting, hosted by Kyoto University, took place online. Brady’s paper was selected for one of two presidential round tables focused on the future of the field.
Additionally, Brady was elected to the Association for East Asian Environmental History council at the conference.
