Boise State is proud to announce a combined Homecoming plus Parent and Family Weekend Sept. 27 through Oct. 3. The campus community is invited to celebrate Bronco Pride through the following in-person and virtual activities.
Homecoming activities
Gameday
Cheer on the Bronco football team as they face the Nevada Wolf Pack on Saturday, Oct. 2. Kickoff time is 1:30 p.m. and tickets are available at broncosports.com.
Homecoming parade
Campus is invited to watch the traditional Homecoming Parade in person on W. Cesar Chavez Lane on Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. Masks are required on the parade route when in close contact with others.
Student organizations, campus departments, alumni groups, and local organizations are invited to decorate a vehicle for the parade.
Those looking to get involved further can sign up as a parade volunteer.
Homecoming + Parent & Family Bronco Bash
Join the Alumni Association and Parent and Family Association for one big pre-game tailgate party at the Alumni and Friends Center from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Oct.2. This free, family-friendly event will feature live music, prizes, a photo booth, and more. Food can be purchased from alum-owned businesses Paddles Up Poke and Big K BBQ, and drinks are available from Coca-Cola and Bud Light. This is an opportunity to watch the parade and be ready to cheer on the Broncos!
Alumni Events and Reunions
The Distinguished Alumni Awards Gala will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1 in the Stueckle Sky Center. This evening celebrates extraordinary alumni who are changing the world in their chosen fields and/or personal endeavors. These individuals exemplify the loyalty, passion, and innovation found in all dedicated Broncos.

Bronco spirit contests
Show some Bronco Pride! Time to break out the Boise State gear and enter one, or all, of the Bronco spirit contests. Entries will be featured each day on social media and winners will receive gift cards or prizes from sponsors Coca-Cola, Mountain America Credit Union, and the Boise State Alumni Association.
Parent and Family Weekend Activities
Coffee and Conversations with the President: 8:30-9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 2
Bronco Families and their students are invited to join university President, Dr. Marlene Tromp, and the deans in the Alumni and Friends Center for coffee and doughnuts before the Bronco Bash begins.
Family Paint Parties: 5-7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 1, and 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2
Families and students will join a local artist for step-by-step instruction to create their very own one-of-a-kind painting to remember the weekend.
Succulent Planting Workshop: 4:30-6:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 2
A Succulent Day will lead a planting workshop in which students and families learn how to plant and care for succulents. Each participant will leave with a three plant mini succulent garden.
