Tomas Baiza, director of the Advising and Academic Support Center, recently had his prose piece, Addenda published in “Passengers Journal.” In the speculative tale, Baiza explores how people might react to a mass dysphoric event that challenges their sense of identity and self-worth.
“I wanted to write a story that depicted people transformed in ways they would have never expected or wanted,” Baiza said. “The characters are forced to evaluate themselves as human beings during a time when the concept of humanity is very much in transition.”
