Shawn Miller, associate vice president of Human Resource Services, is resigning from Boise State University effective July 30, 2021. Miller is leaving to pursue an entrepreneurial venture with a start-up software and consulting company. Miller is the original architect of HR’s People Strategy, which is in the early stages of being operationalized.
“I am deeply grateful for Shawn’s contributions to the University. Please join me in wishing him the very best of luck in his future endeavors,” said Vice President and CFO Mark Heil.
With Miller’s departure:
- Catherine Weitz will return to Boise State and assume leadership of Human Resources, reporting directly to Heil. She will oversee and drive the smooth operations of the HR function on a daily basis, as well as further the operationalization of the People Strategy. HR will maintain its current internal reporting structure.
- Heil will engage in deep support of the People Strategy, including the development and engagement of our leadership and team.
“I am grateful for Catherine’s leadership and her return to Boise State, and I look forward to her continued contributions as we further our People Strategy and the University’s mission,” Heil said.
