Drew Alexander has become the assistant director of capital planning where he will continue to oversee the development and implementation of short- and long-range growth plans for the university. He will provide oversight of the major capital improvement program, serve as the primary campus planning and facilities representative to local governmental agencies, community stakeholder groups and the surrounding neighborhoods. Alexander will provide planning recommendations for off-campus development opportunities, acquisitions and the management of university-owned real estate properties.
Prior to stepping into this role, Alexander served as the capital and asset development manager and the capital planner at the university. He worked as a planner at Agnew:Beck Consulting and the City of Aspen before joining the university.
