According to Paudel, “Findings from this research project show that natural disasters may exceed a country’s capacity to recover from economic damages and cause a significant overall decrease in energy consumption. This helps inform existing fire management policymakers potential ways to account for adverse consequences on energy needs associated with forest fires.”
