Gundars (Gundy) Kaupins, a professor in the Department of Management, recently reviewed Alexandre Lazarow’s “Out-Innovate: How Global Entrepreneurs – from Delhi to Detroit –Are Rewriting the Rules of Silicon Valley” for Choice Magazine.
“Unlike the resource-rich Silicon Valley companies, third-world entrepreneurs must innovate to disrupt markets and create new financial, medical, and educational ecosystems to support scaling,” Kaupins stated in his review. “Aspiring innovators can look at the ethos of successful frontier companies in Africa, South America, and Asia.”
