Shikhar Sarin, a professor in the Department of Management, and colleagues Stacey Malek (BBA in marketing, ’12), Bernard Jaworski and Thomas Brashear-Alejandro received a grant from the Sales Education Foundation (SEF) for their research in “Cross-Cultural Effectiveness of Informal Controls, and their Influence on Salesperson Engagement, and Performance.”
The SEF is the largest foundation in marketing devoted to promotion of sales education and research. The grant was awarded on a competitive basis open to proposals from all over the world. The project is in progress with data collection ongoing in nine countries.
