Join a virtual workshop “From Climate Anxiety to Action: Co-Creating a Vision of a Resilient Future”

“From Climate Anxiety to Action: Co-Creating a Vision of a Resilient Future” is a virtual 1.5-hour workshop that frames climate solutions through the lens of community resilience, relationships, and self-efficacy through co-creating images that reimagine the future of local spaces.

Inspired by the works of Sarah Jacquette Ray on climate anxiety, as well as Naomi Klein, Adrienne Maree Brown, and bell hooks on tangible actions for transformative social change, participants will identify small scale changes that support the larger global movement for justice-centered climate action and practice creating visual representations to actualize that change.

This workshop will be available:

  • 1– 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 19
  • noon – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 20

Register for a workshop time here. Participants will receive a calendar invite and zoom link upon registration.

Please email Kat Davis with any questions or concerns about participating in this workshop at katdavis655@u.boisestate.edu.

*This workshop is a part of a research project that seeks to understand the effectiveness of reframing climate change with a focus on co-creating local solutions.
