On Tuesday, Feb. 2, the Office of Information Technology will begin sending email notifications when a user’s Boise State account password is about to expire.
Users will receive up to two reminder emails. The first will be sent five days in advance of expiration. A second will arrive within 48 hours of expiration if the password has not been updated.
These emails are courtesy reminders and are not phishing attempts. The emails show the date and time that a user’s password is set to expire and include a link to the Boise State password page.
