Bronco Welcome, the university’s signature event for new and returning students, is set for Jan. 9-23, 2021, and Boise State needs everyone’s help to welcome students to campus.
Students are looking for ways to connect to campus and one another and the Bronco Welcome team is looking for help filling its website with those opportunities. Departments that want to create and host welcome activities in order to connect students with important resources and encourage community and belonging, please sign up here.
Faculty members and departments that are more comfortable hosting virtual hangouts, such as open Zoom meetings, are also encouraged to sign up.
You may consider doing events that are in-person, virtual or hybrid in format. Although classes within the first week of the semester will be virtual, with students returning to residence halls and campus to take care of business, you might consider hosting small in-person or virtual programs during the first two weeks of the semester. University Event Services can provide guidance.
