The Idaho Science and Technology Policy Fellowship has announced its second call for year-long fellows. The ISTPF is a collaborative effort among Boise State, the University of Idaho, and Idaho State University, and is led by the McClure Center for Public Policy Research.
The program is seeking outstanding scientists, social scientists and engineers to work with state agencies to develop and implement solutions that address challenges facing Idaho in areas such as water, energy, fire, public health and economic development.
Fellows will have the opportunity to use their expertise to help shape policies that affect all Idahoans. The program provides compensation, benefits, orientation, professional development, mentorship, a travel allowance and administrative support.
The School of Public Service encourages faculty applying for sabbaticals and graduating Ph.D. students to apply.
Applications are due Feb. 28, 2021 and the fellowship year begins in late August 2021.
