Connecting to other makers is challenging in these pandemic times, so staff at Boise State’s MakerLab have embraced an old tradition – pen pals – and put a new spin on it.
Individuals who sign up for the Makerlab’s Make Connections program will be matched with another person with similar interests via email. From there, pairs can decide if they want to collaborate, start a creative correspondence, advise one another on projects or meet up for a brainstorming session.
The program is open to all staff, faculty, undergraduate and graduate students and alumni. Alumni are also invited to match with current students.
