Boise State University will hold its third annual Bronco Giving Day on Thursday, Sept. 10, to engage alumni, donors and friends to support the university’s students and programs through philanthropic gifts.
On Bronco Giving Day, a 36-hour online giving campaign will provide streamlined access for donors to support several key initiatives within the colleges, athletics, departments and other units. In addition, live online leaderboards will once again give donors and alumni the ability to watch in real-time the impact their giving has at Boise State.
Bronco faculty and staff are invited join alumni and friends from all over the world to support an area of Boise State that is meaningful to them. While the COVID pandemic and mandatory furloughs have impacted some faculty and staff members ability to monetarily contribute, there are still meaningful ways to get involved and amplify the positive effects of Bronco Giving Day. One helpful way is to share Boise State’s social media messages in support of Bronco Giving Day by becoming a giving day community ambassador.
Some gifts on Bronco Giving Day will have double the impact, thanks to generous Bronco supporters who fund multiple challenges.
Major gift support of a giving day drives up giving totals and helps to ensure the giving day is a highly visible celebration of the institution and the generosity of those who support the institution. Those who would like to support the Bronco Giving Day with a generous match should contact Connor Tudbury, director of annual giving at connortudbury@boisestate.edu.
Individuals can also support the Bronco Giving Day by becoming one of several giving day social media ambassadors. These ambassadors have access to a personal dashboard with special social media tools that make it even easier to reach and share the excitement through personal networks. For more information on becoming an ambassador, contact Andrew Gauss, senior director of advancement communications at andrewgauss@boisestate.edu.
