Tasha Souza, a professor and director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, was invited to be a part of a recent panel presentation for the Society of American Law Teachers (SALT) for their virtual series: Social Justice in Action.
Her presentation, “Promoting Equity and Inclusion in Online Teaching by Preparing for, and Responding to, Difficult Moments,” was offered virtually to more than 200 law professors. She was joined by three professors of law who spoke about equity and inclusion in online teaching. SALT is committed to advancing teaching excellence, social justice and diversity.
Souza also published an online article, “Responding to Microaggressions in Online Learning Environments During a Pandemic” this summer.
