The Cycle Learning Center (CLC) will welcome students to campus with their annual sale and information sessions Aug. 17-21. The sale will feature both refurbished bikes as well as new bikes.
At the CLC, students can register their bikes in case of theft by picking up a bike index registration sticker. They can also purchase a secure U-Lock and other accessories, get repairs done on their bikes, rent a bike for the semester or year, and get access to the indoor Bike Barn parking, which now uses cameras for increased security. Rates for bicycle rentals and storage can be found on the CLC website.
From 1-2 p.m. daily during the sale week, the CLC will host an outdoor information session on all things bike related. Students can register their bikes here, learn more about CLC services and classes, and get tips for riding on campus and keeping their bikes locked securely.
The CLC is operating under their normal hours, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, but all customer interaction will take place outside the store at this time. Additionally, only credit card payments will be accepted.
The CLC’s weekly Mountain Monday group ride will return at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 24. The rides will be split into two groups – one for those wishing to ride a short loop or a longer loop – and each will be limited to six participants.
Facial coverings are required when meeting at the shop for the ride but may be removed once riding and physical distancing can be assured.
