The Boise State Student Union Building (SUB) officially reopened for the 2020 fall semester on Monday, Aug. 17. The SUB’s building hours will be 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. seven days a week.
However, due to new safety policies, only students, staff and faculty with a Bronco Card may access the SUB. Guests and visitors are welcome but must be accompanied by a Bronco Cardholder.
Campus community members who do not have a Bronco Card should submit a request for one through the Bronco Card/Info Desk. Either a physical Bronco Card or a digital version of the Bronco Card though the Boise State app will be accepted.
In addition, some doors into the facility will be restricted. Visitors are asked to please use the main doors to the SUB – these entries are located on the west and northeast sides of the building. Entrances located on University Drive, across the street from the Lincoln Garage, will only access the Bronco Shop.
SUB administrators have asked staff to model healthy behavior and utilize other identified entrances to gain access to the SUB. Doors that remain locked are only available for egress. If there is an immediate need, please contact the manager on duty at (208) 863-1781.
Dining services
Dining options are open across campus beginning Aug. 17. For the latest hours and information, visit Boise State University Dining Services.
Bronco Shop
The Bronco Shop will be open 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. seven days a week through Sept. 5. Bronco Shop customers will be able to access the store only through the southwest corner entrance to the SUB.
All customers will need to check in at the table inside the southwest entrance. From there, they will be directed to the correct area based on their needs. Customers are required to wear a facial covering. To practice social distancing, the capacity of the store is 65 guests.
Customers are encouraged to shop outside of the peak hours of 10 a.m-2 p.m. and 4 p.m.-6 p.m. if possible, which will reduce wait times. Students are also encouraged to make text book and material purchases through the online bookstore.
Students who wish to receive in-person service at the text counter inside the store will need to make a reservation on Boisestatebooks.com. An expedited line for online textbook pick up is available at the Games Center.
As a reminder, customers will not be able to access the SUB through the Bronco Shop.
